Starting with heavy plate requirements

During a July 2026 factory visit, Zimbabwean customers examined a heavy tonnage hydraulic press brake. The discussion covered the machine frame, hydraulic system and CNC interface for thick plate bending applications.

Comparing bending and rolling processes

The visit also included demonstrations of three-roll and four-roll plate rolling machines. Cylindrical and conical forming provided a different view of plate processing alongside the press brake inspection.

Defining the next technical questions

For a similar equipment discussion, plate thickness, working width and the required finished shape are useful starting points. Bringing representative drawings helps keep the comparison focused on the intended work.
